Detailed Review

In part two of our series of our favourite road trips in memorable cars from years past, Jeff Wilson takes a Chevrolet Camaro to the Deep South.

A road trip can (and should) represent a break from daily life; a change of pace, change of scenery and even a change of character if you want. Choosing the road less traveled can be the difference between mind-numbing freeway and the experience of a lifetime.

For this particular trip, the vehicle of choice was the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible, a soft-top version of Chevy’s muscle-infused pony car, making its horsepower the old fashioned way: a 6.2L V8 supercharged to the tune of 580 horsepower and classic rumbling exhaust to leave a trail of happy ears in its wake.
