Porsche Prices Panamera 4 and Executive Models

New trims bring AWD, long-wheelbase to entry-level end of the spectrum

Porsche continues to flesh out its redesigned four-door Panamera with a pair of entry-level AWD models dubbed Panamera 4 and Panamera 4 Executive, priced for Canada at $102,500 and $110,200, respectively.

The latest additions to the line share a 330-hp version of the 3.0L turbocharged V6 used elsewhere in the Panamera lineup and are the first to combine the entry-level engine with all-wheel drive. In 4S models introduced earlier this year as part of the car's initial rollout, a same-sized turbocharged engine makes a total of 440 hp.

Granted, Porsche considers the long-wheelbase Panamera Executive models anything but entry-level, with features like heated rear seats with multi-way power adjustment, electronically-controlled air suspension and a roll-up rear sunshade. But the 4 Executive's price brings these luxuries, along with a wheelbase stretched by 150 mm, within reach of the Panamera's $97,300 base tag. All Executive models get a new, large rear centre console that can be optioned with integrated folding tables and a rear-seat entertainment system with 10.1-inch screens in the front seat backrests that double as portable tablets.

The 2017 Porsche Panamera 4 and 4 Executive will reach the manufacturer's Canadian dealerships in the second quarter of 2017.
