Ducati and Harley-Davidson led the kick off of the 2017 Toronto Motorcycle Show with two Canadian debuts.
Ducati showed their 215 hp, carbon-fibre-framed 1299 SuperLeggera, a street legal machine with Formula 1 car power to weight. The Italian marque also had on display two new editions of the successful Scrambler range, including the Desert Sled.
Harley-Davidson is celebrating 100 years in Canada with a special edition paint and Maple Leaf package on their cruisers, and used the show to unveil the Road King Special to Canadian audiences.
The centennial celebrations include a competition to win a Harley, and a timeline tracing the company's history since its inception in 1903, through to its emergence in Canada in 1917 and then onward to today.
The show also has a heavy presence from Honda - who is celebrating 25 years of its CBR range in 2017 - as well as offerings from Victory, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Indian and more.
The show takes place all weekend February 17-19 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.
