Mercedes-Benz Signs Deal With Live Nation Canada
Concert goers across the country can expect to see Mercedes-Benz' name and logo at live music events over the next few years, following the automaker signing a promotional deal with Live Nation Canada.
Through the agreement, Mercedes-Benz Canada will offer a new concierge service called Mercedes-Benz Star Access that will personally assist with ticket purchases to anyone who has leased, financed or purchased a vehicle through the automaker's dealer network, whether new or used.
Another program, called Mercedes-Benz Star Access VIP, will allow the manufacturer to work with local Benz dealers to "create unique experiences for their customers at Live Nation Canada events," to potentially include things such as stage-side seating, special access areas and backstage passes, as well as potential meet and greets with the stars.
Naturally, the deal will make the Mercedes-Benz name visible at the Live Nation events, on digital screens positioned throughout venues, along with the slogan, "Be Moved," a statement that both companies feel speaks to their "passion for performance." Various Mercedes-Benz products will also make appearances at shows across the country, with the partnership launching last night with a G-Wagon parked in front of the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, before Live Nation artist Bon Jovi performed his first of two shows, the second running tonight.
