Toyota 4Runner Gets Slight Price Hike For 2019

Sep 24, 2018

Summary
New darker trim

Pricing for the 2019 Toyota 4Runner SUV is now released. Changes for this year to the rugged model include a new Nightshade edition, some added TRD Pro features, and a price hike for the base model of $505 to start at $46,155.

The Nightshade trim is new this year and adds to the Limited seven-passenger trim. It adds power running boards along with black trim styling cues. That means black bumpers, mirror covers, door handles, rocker panels, roof rack and grille. Plus big 20-inch black alloy wheels. Inside, it has a leather shift knob with black trim as well as metal interior trim.

The Limited trim it builds on already offers an X-REAS suspension that transfers forces from the shocks diagonally front to rear to improve stability. Along with front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control, leather ventilated seats, and a 15-speaker JBL audio system.

TRD PRO adds TRD Fox shocks this year that should give improved handling on and off road. It also has a TRD-stamped aluminum skid plate, basket-style roof rack, and LED for lights. Plus you can get it in a new Voodoo blue this year. Building on the TRD Off Road, the Pro also has TRD-tuned front springs and 31.5-inch Nitto all-terrain tires.

TRD Off Road and base 4Runner are unchanged this year.

The 2019 Toyota 4Runner is on sale now at dealers.

4Runner $46,155
TRD Off Road $48,540
Limited 5-Passenger $51,530
