2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe Pricing Announced, Canadian Buyers Get Exclusive Bonus

Canadians pride themselves on living in the Great White North, so it makes sense that Genesis is including a free set of winter tires with its sportiest SUV to date, the GV80 Coupe, which starts at $104,000.
Set to reach Canadian dealerships in July, the new sportback model tops the GV80 lineup thanks to its lofty price, its attention-grabbing design, and its powerful 3.5L V6, which is assisted by an electric supercharger. The new model is the only Genesis SUV to feature this powertrain, which makes 409 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque.
Given the power, Genesis wants to ensure that GV80 Coupes sold in Canada are ready to handle the road, no matter the weather. That means an extra pair of winter tires (Michelin X-Ice Snow) and a set of black Alloy Genesis-branded rims will be included as part of the purchase price on all GV80 Coupes sold in Canada.
“In most parts of our country, winter tires are either essential or mandatory,” says Eric Marshall, director of Genesis Motors Canada. “The inclusion of this comprehensive seasonal care plan to the GV80 Coupe removes additional pain points, contributing to an effortless ownership experience.”
In addition, Genesis promises it will store customers' off-season tires for free for up to five years. Installation is also free, whether you opt to do it at one of the automaker’s dealerships or ask one of its employees to make the change at your home via the valet service.
While some competitors' dealerships offer similar programs in Canada, Genesis is the only automaker to include a set of winter tires in a vehicle's purchase nationwide. Described as a pilot program, Genesis Canada says it is monitoring its success and hopes to offer winter tires on other models in the future.
Genesis will offer the GV80 Coupe in just one trim level, but it will be well-equipped. Inside, that includes a flat-bottomed steering wheel, carbon fibre accents, a 27-inch OLED display, and four colour options for the upholstery: Vanilla Beige, Obsidian Black, Ultramarine Blue, and Sevilla Red.
Outside, the sporty SUV gets exclusive 22-inch wheels and 10 exterior paint colour options, including Bering Blue, which isn’t available on any other Genesis model, and Mauna Red, which isn’t available on any other GV80.
When sales start in July, buyers will be able to visit a Genesis Retail Experience centre to test drive the GV80 Coupe, or they can test drive it at home, and order it online.
