We still can't believe these videos...

The weather in Ontario has been volatile this summer, which was made painfully clear this week when severe thunderstorms caused flash floods. Hundreds of thousands were stranded with no power, roads became flooded, and cars all over Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) became submerged.

Here are some of the highlights caught during the flooding.

Trucker Storms Through Flooded Highway

This brave driver did not let a measly little flood overpower him, as he decided to cut straight through the water in style with his giant 18-wheeler oil rig. The exhaust placement in trucks like these may have ended up acting like a snorkel.

Unfortunate BMW Owner

This poor owner of a fifth-generation BMW 3 Series had it rough. It was parked right underneath a drain pipe spewing filthy brown water from the flood. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the rear right window was left open, flooding the whole interior of the sedan.

A Multi-Million Dollar Disaster

From the looks of it, no one was spared from the flooding, as this particular parking lot of a luxury car dealership had tremendously expensive cars like a couple of Range Rovers, a Bentley Continental GT, and even a Rolls-Royce Cullinan that were almost entirely submerged. It’s hard to even imagine the cost of fixing the damage on any of these cars.

An Aquatic Highway Underpass

The Dixie Road underpass between Dundas Street and Queensway East in Mississauga looked like a dam due to the immense flooding. Surreal footage shows several cars submerged almost completely.
