The Canadian International AutoShow is back for another amazing year, and, as always, there are plenty of attractions to check out. From new cars to test tracks, here are some exciting exhibits visitors can look forward to. The show runs from February 14 to 23, with tickets available to purchase online or on-site at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
New Cars
The highlight of any car show is, of course, the cars. Exciting new vehicles are being highlighted this year, including the Subaru Forester Hybrid, Rivian R2, Polestar 3 and 4, the Canadian-exclusive Kia EV5, and many more. There's even a Tesla Cybertruck and a Robotaxi to check out.
Auto Exotica
One of the biggest highlights of every year's show is Auto Exotica, which allows showgoers to see some of the world’s rarest, fastest, and most expensive cars. Much like years prior, there is a treasure trove of exciting dream machines on display, with some highlights being the Pagani Huayra, Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Diablo, Lexus LFA, and Ferrari F50.
Light Up the Night
During several nights of the show, guests will have the opportunity to hear the cars' engines on display at Auto Exotica. From rumbling V8s to screaming V12s, this is an amazing chance to experience these incredible cars come to life.
Camp Jeep
Camp Jeep is a popular returning attraction from previous years. Jeep gives attendees the ability to get a feel of the brand’s renowned off-road capabilities in the custom indoor obstacle course. Guests will be driven by Jeep representatives around the course, which showcases the off-road capability of various models of Jeep’s lineup.
EV Test Track
Another returning staple attraction of the AutoShow is the indoor Electric Vehicle (EV) Test Track. This allows visitors to test drive competing EVs around the Metro Convention Centre’s indoor test track. Participants will get a first-hand feel for EV driving with experts at their side to answer any questions.
Lego Group
The Lego group returns for another year at the AutoShow with a fun display of life-size 1:1 scale Lego McLaren P1 made of over 300,000 pieces. There is also a real P1 to accompany it.
Cobble Beach Classics Tribute to Mercedes-Benz
This is an exhibit that's sure to delight classic car lovers. Cobble Beach Concours D’elegance presents a tribute to Mercedes-Benz, showcasing many classic and priceless models from its long history, from the original Benz Motorwagen to the Mercedes SLR.
Mattel Hot Wheels Exhibit
Mattel is back to the auto show for another year, this time showcasing life-size versions of beloved Hot Wheels toys. The exhibit will also have a dedicated children’s play area where there will be a variety of toys available to play with. There's also a boutique where you might be able to find some fun Hot Wheels to take home.
Red Bull Fan Zone
For F1 fans seeking to experience a realistic simulator, the Red Bull Fan Zone presents the perfect opportunity. Attendees can get behind the wheel of a virtual F1 car to get an idea of what it will be like to race on a Grand Prix track. There will be a DJ, along with challenges to compete against other attendees.
Outdoor Test Drive Program
This is an opportunity for prospective vehicle buyers to test drive cars on Toronto streets. Experts will accompany test drivers to answer any potential questions they may have. This allows for a real-world understanding of how these cars may perform in the real world.
