Infiniti has debuted a facelift for its best-selling model, the QX60, which will closely follow the design trends and technology of the QX80.
Anand Patel, Senior Product Manager of Infiniti North America, says the new QX60 is essentially a “baby QX80.” The new top-of-the-range 2026 Infiniti QX60 is the Autograph trim, equipped similarly to the QX80 with two second-row captain’s chairs for a 2+2+2 seating configuration. The two-tone colour combination will be available for the Autograph and the Sport trim, which is new for this refresh.

The Sport trim offers exclusive visual customizations such as a small front splitter, a more aggressive grille pattern, and Sport-specific wheels. One interior colour will be available in the Sport: navy blue leather seats with white accent stitching. The Canadian market Sport version gets a 2+3+2 seating configuration, while the U.S. market Sport version gets the same captain’s chairs as the Autograph model. In Canada, the captain’s chairs will only be available on the top Autograph trim.

The Canadian market will also get a Sensory trim level that won’t be available in the U.S., and it will be placed between Sport and Autograph in the lineup for a total of five trim levels.
The QX60 also features the same individualized audio system seen on the QX80. It has the ability to control what audio is heard by the passengers and the driver. For example, the driver could take a call through the headrest speakers without needing to turn off the music for the rest of the passengers. Similarly, this system can also use the same headrest speakers to play music in the front of the car only, while lowering the volume for second and third-row passengers, allowing them to have a conversation.

As for other technology, all QX60 trims feature two 12.5-inch displays and an improved version of Infiniti’s ProPilot Assist, the brand’s semi-autonomous adaptive cruise control system. Cameras are also a significant addition to this new generation, and the new QX60 borrows many of the same features as the QX80, including the 3D view of the vehicle, a wide front view, and a view of what's directly underneath the car, which Infiniti calls Invisible Hood.
In terms of design, the QX60 closely follows the trend of the new QX80, with sleeker front headlights and a rear light bar that gives the QX60 a sharper look when compared to the pre-facelift version. Other new details include a 3D Infiniti logo on the front, complemented by an LED outline for nighttime driving. In the rear, Infiniti has ditched its emblem for letters to showcase the vehicle’s branding. A significant visual change for the QX60 is dark chrome accents for the front grille and doors, which also adds to the sleeker image. New colour options are available, with emerald green and a silky white being offered.

The QX60 will keep the 2.0L inline four-cylinder of the current model that makes 268 hp and 288 lb-ft of torque. Infiniti Senior Manager of Engineering and R&D, Jim Mastrondardi, said Infiniti decided not to have a hybrid powertrain because the current engine produces sufficient power while achieving highway fuel consumption of 8.8 L/100 km, which is the same as many of QX60’s hybrid competitors.
The refreshed 2026 Infiniti QX60 is expected to go on sale this summer, with pricing announced closer to its release date.
