Summary
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are big highlights for this small crossover.

The 2026 Honda HR-V has been refreshed with small tweaks to its design and meaningful tech upgrades.

Honda’s smallest crossover gets a bigger touchscreen alongside standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger, finally bringing the tech to the entry-level sub-compact SUV. The available touchscreen now measures 9 inches across, a 2-inch increase from the previous model. Honda also says the system has a faster processor, which should reduce lag, and new USB-C ports are placed throughout the cabin.

The refreshed HR-V will also be available with new wheel designs, two new colours, larger wheels on uplevel trims, and standard rear privacy glass. Inside, new lighting for the climate control knobs and footwell should help bring some visual interest into the cabin.

The HR-V continues with the same powertrain: a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard on all but the base trim. Fuel economy for the all-wheel-drive version is rated at 9.5 L/100 km in the city, 7.8 on the highway, and 8.7 combined.

The 2026 Honda HR-V is available at Canadian dealerships now.
