As sporty trims are (or, sadly, were) to sedans, off-roady trims are to crossovers, and Nissan is the latest brand to give its high-volume compact crossover a rugged makeover, with the 2026 Rogue Rock Creek edition.
The new-to-Canada trim adds a dash of capability, a lot of aesthetics, and a few new toys to help their family hauler cosplay as a real off-roader. Indeed, inspired by the world of extreme rock crawling the Rogue Rock Creek has beadlock-style all-terrain tires. While these are no doubt grippier than other trims’ tires, they’re probably still better suited to gravel roads than bouldery fields.
Elsewhere, the Rogue Rock Creek edition gets Lava Red accents on the wheels, the badge, and the lower front fascia, as well as red accent stitching on the leatherette seats. Nissan has also decided to top the grille with three white-rimmed rectangles, a nod to its off-road-racing pickup trucks.

To contrast the red and white highlights, Nissan has finished the grille and much of the front fascia in gloss black to go with the piano black interior trim pieces. Although it certainly gives the Rogue Rock Creek a distinctive appearance, it’s a bit of an odd choice to go with such glossy finishes, since the vehicle is supposed to get into muddy and rocky situations that are likely to ruin that finish.
Naturally, the Rogue Rock Creek comes with standard all-wheel drive, as well as hill descent control, and an off-road view that shows a camera feed of what’s around the vehicle at speeds of up to 19 km/h. That should help drivers navigate with more confidence around tricky trails.
All 2026 Rogues are powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine that produces 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque and is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). All versions are also equipped with standard safety features, such as automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warnings, high beam assist, and more.

The Rogue Rock Creek (as well as the S and SV trims) will come with an eight-inch infotainment screen that comes with standard (wired) Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Those who opt for the Platinum trim are treated to a 12.3-inch infotainment screen that features Google built-in technology, giving drivers access to Google Maps, Assistant, and the tech company’s other automotive apps. The top-of-the-line trim also comes with wireless screen mirroring technology and a wireless phone charger.
Unfortunately, pricing is not yet available for the 2026 Nissan Rogue, but the Rock Creek edition is set to arrive at Canadian dealerships this fall.
