The Double Apex Blue Pearl Grille is a nod to the first-generation Integra.

Acura is making a collection of small but significant changes to its compact sedan, the Integra, for the 2026 model year. New colours, an important tech update, and some visual updates should help the car stay competitive in its third year on the market.

The most important improvement for day-to-day liveability is Acura’s decision to get rid of the old seven-inch infotainment display. Now, all models will come standard with a nine-inch touchscreen that has faster processing speeds than the outgoing standard unit. A vital upgrade for this premium sedan, the new screen also means that wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be standard across the lineup.

That’s the only functional change for owners of the 2026 Integra, but there will also be some aesthetic updates to attract buyers. The most visible will be the new colour options, including Solar Silver Metallic and Urban Grey Pearl.

The Integra will also borrow the Double Apex Blue Pearl that first appeared on the all-electric ZDX Type S. Those who opt for the bright shade of blue will also be able to paint their grille in the same colour as the rest of the body, which Acura says is a nod to the first-generation Integra, which helped launch Honda’s premium brand 40 years ago. Those who prefer a gloss black grille can have that instead, and it will be the default colour for examples purchased in any other colour.

Finally, the brand has designed a new aero body kit for the Integra A-Spec. This adds gloss black side spoilers at the front corners as well as a side sill garnish that improves high-speed aerodynamics. To go with the new body kit, A-Spec variants of the Integra will get newly designed 18-inch black wheels.

As ever, theIntegra will continue to be powered by a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 200 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque and can be paired to either a standard continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a six-speed manual transmission.

The 2026 Acura Integra goes on sale at Canadian dealerships this fall.
