Thanks to a significant update, the price of the Hyundai Palisade is set to increase by just over $3,000 for the 2026 model year. However, despite that increase, the SUV is still competitive in its segment.
For the upcoming model year, the cheapest Palisade on sale will be the Preferred Trend AWD trim, which starts at $55,799 (all prices include the non-negotiable destination charge, which, in the case of the Palisade, is $2,100). Although the same trim cost $53,284 in 2025, prices for the 2025 Volkswagen Atlas open at nearly $57,000 while the Honda Pilot (which can only be had in the off-roady TrailSport trim) starts at over $60,000.
There are, however, ways to get a cheaper three-row SUV, such as the Toyota Grand Highlander, which has a base MSRP of around $54,000, or the Nissan Pathfinder, which can be had for as little as $50,000.
Conversely, there are also ways to get a much more expensive Palisade. The more rugged XRT Pro AWD trim starts at $59,899. Like the standard trim, it’s powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.5L V6 engine that makes 287 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. The unit is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and Hyundai is targeting a towing capacity of 2,268 kg (5,000 lbs).

The XRT Pro trim also adds an electronic rear limited slip differential to help it handle soft roads more confidently. The trim also gets an extra inch of ground clearance, better approach, departure, and breakover angles, special driving modes for mud, sand, and snow, as well as all-terrain tires.
Meanwhile, the top trim, the Ultimate Calligraphy Hybrid AWD, starts at $67,799, and is powered by an electrified powertrain. The unit uses a 2.5L four-cylinder engine and electric motors to deliver 329 net horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai estimates that it will be able to tow a 1,814-kg (4,000-pound) trailer and get 7.0 L/100 km of fuel economy (though, not at the same time).
It will also get all of the latest bells and whistles, including twin 12.3-inch displays, a 14-speaker sound system from Bose, and a wireless phone charger. Second-row captain’s chairs with leg rests are also available, or the Palisade comes with a second-row bench as standard, which allows it to seat as many as eight occupants.
