Signed by either team driver

The AM-RB 001 won't be the only roadgoing part of Aston Martin and Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing's partnership. Just ahead of the 2017 Formula 1 season getting started, Aston has unveiled a pair of special editions: the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing editions.

The special Vantage S models were created by Q by Aston Martin, the brand's in-house customization branch. They have taken Red Bull Racing's Formula 1 racing livery and applied that to the road cars. Fortunately, there are no giant Red Bull stickers or other sponsor logos on the outside. What they have applied is a Mariana Blue paint finish, with Tungsten Silver or satin blue as options. There are red accents on the nose and fender grilles along with yellow calipers to complete the look. The grille is carbon fiber, as are the new splitter, rear diffuser, and fender strakes.

Changes inside the car include Red Bull Racing embroidery on the headrest, more carbon, and a race car inspired 12 o'clock stripe on the steering wheel. The inspection plaques on the sills and the final inspection plaque on the engine will be signed by either of the team's two drivers, Daniel Ricciardo or Max Verstappen, at the customer's choice.

The special editions won't come with significant performance upgrades, but if the 430 hp of the V8 Vantage S isn't enough, that's why they offer the 565 hp V12.

Deliveries of the car are expected to start in spring of this year.
