Honda Reveals 2018 Side-By-Side and ATV Lineup
Honda Powersports has announced their 2018 side-by-side and ATV lineup. It sees the Pioneer 1000 and 700 returning, as well as the FourTrax Foreman Rubicon and Rincon.
The Pioneer 1000 got a big update for 2017, so sees little change for 2018. It has a 999cc twin and is the only side-by-side on the market with a dual-clutch transmission. The gearbox can be operated manually, or run through its six-speeds automatically. There's even a sport mode available.
The four-wheel drive system offers two-wheel drive, four-wheel drive with differential lock, and a mode that is designed to save your lawn. Limited edition trims come with a traction control system that also has hill-start assist and brake force distribution.
Five-seat models quickly convert the rear seats to a cargo bed, and all but the LE have a self-leveling rear suspension. The LE has upgraded Fox shocks instead.
The Pioneer 700 has a 675cc liquid-cooled single cylinder and a conventional automatic. It comes in two and four-seat configurations, with the four-seat model offering a fold-down rear seat. Electric power steering and a manual shift mode are available on Deluxe trim models.
On the ATV side, the Rubicon and Rincon are also returning.

Honda says that the FourTrax Foreman Rubicon 4x4 EPS is the only ATV to come with a manual-shift transmission and an independent rear suspension. The other models in the family offer a dual-clutch transmission.

Finally, The FourTrax Rincon offers Honda's biggest ATV engine, a 675 cc liquid-cooled single. The engine is longitudinally mounted to give a more direct link to the rear axle. The premium Rincon also offers independent rear suspension and a three-speed automatic.
The 2018 Honda side-by-sides arrive at Honda Powersports dealers this fall, with the ATV models arriving late this summer.
