Summary
New package offered on RX 350

The line-up of 2018 Lexus RX models is now on sale across Canada, with the newest addition being the three-row RX L, and the company has just announced pricing for all versions.

Available in six or seven-seat configurations, the RX L has a starting price of $66,050. The other RX models, all five-seaters, are also now on sale, with the 2018 RX 350 starting at $56,500, while the 450h gas-electric hybrid version starts at $70,900.

A new package being offered for 2018 is the RX 350 with Navigation Package, which sells for $57,850. Other RX 350 trims include the Luxury Package ($64,100), Executive Package ($69,750), F Sport Series 2 ($65,200) and F Sports Series 3 ($69,750).

For the 450h hybrid, it is also offered with the Executive Package ($76,600) and F Sport Series 3 ($76,800).

The RX offers two versions of its gas-only engine, with the 350 featuring a 3.5-litre V6 rated at 295 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque. It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In the three-row RX L, the 3.5-litre V6 is rated at 290 hp and 263 lb-ft of torque.

The 450h comes with Lexus Hybrid Drive, which includes a 3.5-litre Atkinson cycle V6 paired with a high-torque electric motor. The system offers a combined 308 hp and uses a continuously variable transmission.

All powertrains include the Lexus Drive Mode Select system, which allows you to toggle between Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes. The 450h also has an EV-only mode, but don't expect much all-electric range from this non-plug-in hybrid.

The Lexus Safety System + is also standard on all RX models. The system includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection; automatic high beams, radar cruise control and lane departure alert with lane keep assist. A backup camera, blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert are also standard.
