Genesis Prices G70 Sports Sedan

Apr 2, 2018

Summary
Two turbo engines, and an available manual

Genesis has priced its first compact sports sedan. The G70 will arrive through the brand's new sales outlets and in-home experience later this month, with all-inclusive pricing starting from $42,000.

The base G70 is the Advanced, which will offer all-wheel drive, an eight-speed automatic, and a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder. It will come with a full suite of active safety features, including lane keeping and radar cruise control. An Elite trim will add more luxury features like LED headlights, quilted leather seats, and a 15-speaker audio system. The 2.0T Prestige adds a head-up display and 12-way power adjustable seats.

Buyers can also pick the 3.3T in Dynamic and Sport. That trim uses a 3.3L twin-turbo V6 that makes 365 hp. It shares the all-wheel drive system and eight-speed automatic with 2.0T models.

Helping earn its sport sedan credentials, the G70 is available as a rear-drive six-speed manual 2.0T Sport. That version gets a mechanical limited-slip differential and Brembo brakes.

The G70 is available for pre-order online until April 15th, with in-person availability expected to start shortly after. Genesis pricing includes freight, and the brand says there are no extra fees.
