Summary
Concours de Zoom will showcase some famous Mercedes owners and their cars for charity.

Ludacris, Martha Stewart, and Jay Leno don’t seem to have a lot in common, but they’re all celebrities who also happen to be Mercedes owners. They will all be participating in a charity concours from the comfort of their own homes, joining people all over the world digitally as they practice physical distancing.

Mercedes will be hosting an event dubbed Concours de Zoom, a virtual event on the video conferencing platform where famous people will show off their Benzes and highlight a few things they love about their cars. For their participation, Mercedes will be making a donation to the American Red Cross.

Other celebrities joining the digital Mercedes-fest include actor Madelaine Petsch of Riverdale, professional golfer Rickie Fowler, Canadian filmmaker and music video director Cole Walliser, and more. Some of the cars being featured include classics like a 1908 vintage Mercedes, a 1956 300 SL Gullwing, a 1988 560 SL, and a 1991 G 300 D. A few new models like the A-Class, GLS, AMG S 63 Coupe, and an AMG GT C Coupe will be highlighted in the online video conference.
