2025 Subaru Forester Canadian Pricing Announced, Arrives This Summer

The all-new 2025 Subaru Forester arrives at dealers in Canada this summer. The latest version of the compact crossover starts from $33,495, with the $1,500 increase bringing a much higher level of standard equipment.

Every 2025 Forester comes with the latest version of Subaru's EyeSight driver assist technology. The upgrades from last year's Forester include a new wide-angle camera that works with new software to improve the system's performance and allows it to work in a wider range of conditions. The system can now identify cyclists and pedestrians sooner, alerting the driver and applying the brakes as needed to help avoid collisions.

Emergency Stop Assist is a new EyeSight feature and the Forester is the first Subaru to get it. The system can bring the crossover to a controlled stop if it detects an unresponsive driver and will then contact emergency services for help. The system uses the adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist sensors on base models, while on models equipped with Subaru's DriverFocus distraction monitoring system, it adds those inputs.

All 2025 Subaru Forester models get a 180-hp 2.5L flat four-cylinder engine. All-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission are standard.

The entry point for Forester is the Convenience trim at $33,495. This includes heated seats and 17-inch alloy wheels. It also has steering-responsive headlights that track into turns. Touring adds an 11.6-inch centre screen in place of the base dual 7.0-inch screen system. It also has proximity key entry, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and adds a heated steering wheel.

The Sport trim gets bronze accents in place of the last generation's orange trim bits. The Sport adds 19-inch alloys and a sport-tuned suspension system. The model also comes with soft-touch simulated leather and an 11-speaker Harman Kardon stereo.

Limited models add GPS navigation and DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation. The models get leather seats and add heating for the outer rear passengers. Premier includes gloss black exterior accents, a 360-view camera system, and have ventilated front seats finished in leather and Ultrasuede.
