2025 Honda Odyssey Gets Better Tech Inside, NSX Reflectors on the Rear Bumper

Summary
The 2025 Honda Odyssey gets a new instrument screen, a better infotainment screen, and a bigger media screen for kids.

The Honda Odyssey is getting a subtle refresh for 2025, including updated design on the outside, and new technology on the inside.

That means new front and rear fascia that are intended to make the minivan look wider, as well as a new grille. New black fog lights also give the 2025 Odyssey an “aspirational look,” according to the manufacturer, and there’s plenty to aspire to at the back, too. That’s because the minivan now features the same vertical reflectors on its rear bumper as the second-generation NSX.

To round out the new look, each of the four trim levels features newly designed wheels, and a new paint colour has been added to the palette: Solar Silver Metallic.

The updates continue inside, where Honda has improved the minivan’s many screens. Starting behind the steering wheel, the Odyssey now gets a standard seven-inch instrument cluster that shows speed, engine revolutions, vehicle information, and user-selectable functions, like Honda Sensing active safety features.

Next to it, every Odyssey benefits from a new nine-inch touchscreen. Not only is it larger than the outgoing minivan’s standard infotainment display, but its processors are also faster, offering users a lag-free experience that’s compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Finally, the passengers in the back also benefit from new tech. Their entertainment screen has been revamped and is now 12.8 inches across. The high-definition screen’s HDMI cable has also been moved into a dedicated console, providing occupants with a bin dedicated to the storage streaming devices.

Prices for the 2025 Odyssey start at $49,920 (before the $2,000 destination charge). For that, buyers get the Sport trim, which comes with a power moonroof, power-adjusting heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more.

The Sport-L adds darkened taillights and black trim around the grille, headlights, fog lights, B-pillar, C-pillar, and taillights. Inside, it gets black leather upholstery with red contrast stitching, a black headliner, as well as two extra USB-C ports and sun shades for third-row passengers. Prices for the trim start at $52,920.

The Touring trim starts at $58,320 and adds satellite navigation, the CabinWatch child surveillance system, and a third USB-C port in the third row. It also gets contrast stitching and piping, ventilated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, a premium audio system, a hands-free power tailgate, auto-dimming side mirrors, and parking sensors for the front and rear.

Finally, the Odyssey Black Edition gets perforated leather seats with red stitching, floor mats with a Black Edition logo, and gloss black exterior garnishes. Pricing for the trim starts at $60,120.

Most 2025 Honda Odyssey trim levels are set to reach Canadian showrooms this summer, but it will take until the winter for the Touring trim to reach our roads.

  • Odyssey Sport: $49,920
  • Odyssey Sport-L: $52,920
