The Honda Prologue will be able to go about 20 km farther per charge in the U.S. for the 2025 model year. That’s an improvement of around 4 per cent over the 2024 model, and a total of 308 miles (496 km) per charge, according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
In addition, RWD versions of the all electric SUV will get eight more horsepower (for a total of 220 hp) and an extra seven lb-ft of torque thanks to powertrain improvement. Meanwhile, the AWD model will get an increase of 12 horsepower (for a total of 300) and 25 more lb-ft of torque, for a total of 355.
Unfortunately, the automaker did not elaborate on how these gains were eked out. Although the improvements are relatively minor, they will no doubt be welcome for consumers weighing their options in the electric SUV segment.
So far, Honda’s Canadian division has not announced the same updates, but it stands to reason that any improvements made south of the border will be brought north of it, too. Natural Resources Canada has yet to publish its data on the 2025 Honda Prologue.
In an email, a representative for Honda Canada told us that the company is in the process of finalizing details and pricing for the model, and that they will be confirmed shortly.
