Palisade Powerplay: Hyundai Reveals its Next Canadian Exclusive NHL Edition SUV

Hyundai revealed today that, for 2026, its NHL Edition package will be applied to the 2026 Palisade Hybrid. Finished in icy matte white paint, featuring Canadian-made trim, and the logo of each owner’s favourite team, the crossover is sure to be the first star of the morning hockey run.

Just 500 examples of the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid NHL Edition will be sold and each will feature the exclusive Creamy White exterior paint colour. The exterior will contrast against Grey Charcoal Nappa leather interior with Luxwood door sill, branded carpets, centre wheel caps, and a TuxMat floor liner and cargo tray, each of which is made by a Canadian company.

Importantly, those door sill finishers and the liners will be festooned with the logo of any one of the NHL’s 32 teams, depending on which the buyer selects. In addition, each of the Palisade Hybrid NHL Edition’s buyers will receive Yeti Roadie 32 wheeled cooler with their purchase, and they’ll be entered in a draw to win a trip for two to a 2026 Stanley Cup Final game.

As the name suggests, the SUV is powered by Hyundai’s hybrid powertrain, which is based around a 2.5L turbocharged engine. All in, the powertrain delivers 329 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque, as well as fuel economy of 8.1 L/100 km in combined driving, according to Natural Resources Canada.

Based on the Ultimate Calligraphy Hybrid trim package, the model also gets 21-inch alloy wheels, a dual-pane sunroof, ventilated second row seats, a Bose 14-speaker sound system, and more.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid NHL Edition is only available in Canada for a price of $70,999 (including $2,100 destination charge).
