Things have never looked brighter for the Jeep Wrangler, literally. The new Whitecap special edition is here, and the appearance package adds Bright White painted accents to help Jeep’s core model stand out even more.
Part of the “Twelve 4 Twelve” promotion that the automaker is using to celebrate its 85th anniversary, the Wrangler Whitecap is the second of 12 special edition models Jeep plans to unveil over the coming year.
Inspired by the CJ-Universal, which featured an Arctic White top, the Whitecap appearance package will be available on the Sahara and Rubicon trims. As a result, power will come from either a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 3.6L V6.
The package adds a Bright White painted hardtop roof to the legendary Wrangler, in addition to a Bright White painted grille, and a Bright White 1941 side stripe decal. It also gets body-colour fender flares and an optional one-touch powertop with Bright White accents.
The Whitecap joins the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 in the automaker’s growing list of 85th anniversary special edition models. That model is powered by a 6.4L (392 cubic inch) Hemi V8 engine that produces 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. It also gets off-road goodies, such as a 17-inch beadlock capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires, and a dual-mode exhaust, among other upgrades.
The Wrangler Moab 392 has an MSRP of US$79,995, while the Whitecap package adds US$495 to the price of a Wrangler Rubicon X, US$2,690 to the price of the Wrangler Sahara, and US$3,185 to the price of a regular Rubicon. Order books are now open for both special edition models.
